T&Y Dream Foundation

The T&Y Dream Foundation is located up in Ziro, right at Tilling Taker’s place in the Manipolyan area. If you know the Lower Subansiri district, you know how beautiful it is up here, but it can also be a bit isolated. We started this because we saw a lot of folks who could use a hand with different things. We are not a big fancy group with a lot of funding. It is mostly just a few of us doing what we can with what we have. We spend a lot of time walking around the local paths and talking to the families nearby. The Ziro valley is where we belong, so it makes sense for us to be active here. We don't use big words or have long meetings. Usually, we just sit down and figure out what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes we get things right and sometimes it takes a bit longer to get organized. That is just how life goes here. People know where to find us if they need something. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. We are just local residents trying to make things a little easier for our neighbors in this part of the state. It’s a simple way of living and we are glad to be a part of it. Even when the winter gets cold or the transport is slow, we keep our doors open for anyone who needs to stop by for a bit of help.
