Our office is in the village of Sualkuchi, right near the Ganesh Das High School in the Kamrup district. If you are from around here, you know it is a place famous for its weaving, though we are just a regular company doing our own bit. Being near a school means we hear the kids playing during their breaks and the bell ringing throughout the day. It gives the whole area a lively feel. Our building is quite modest, just a single-story place with a small porch where we sometimes sit when the weather is nice. We don't have air conditioning, so we rely on the breeze and the ceiling fans to stay cool. The office inside is filled with old registers and a few wooden chairs for visitors. We have been part of this community for a long time and know almost everyone who walks past our door. It is the kind of place where people stop by just to say hello or ask how things are going. We don't have a website that we update or any big ads in the paper. Most of our work comes from people who know us and trust that we will do a decent job. It is a slow-paced life in Kamrup, and we are happy with that. We just take things one day at a time and try to be helpful to whoever comes in. It is simple, local, and honest work.
