Vijaya Traders

Our business, Vijaya Traders, is situated at 3-2-145 on the Mysore Main Road in Maddur. If you know Maddur, you know how busy the main road can get with all the buses and cars moving between the big cities. We are right in the thick of it. Our shop is usually filled to the ceiling with various goods we trade. It can be a bit of a squeeze to get around inside when a new shipment arrives. We’ve been at this location for many years, watching the town grow around us. The noise from the highway is a constant backdrop to our workday. We spend a lot of time unloading crates and sorting through stock. It’s a busy life, and we are usually on our feet from morning until the shutters go down at night. We don't have any fancy displays; we just put the items where they fit. Customers come in looking for all sorts of things, and we do our best to find what they need in the piles. The dust from the road settles on the shelves, so we are always wiping things down. It’s a practical, hardworking environment. We aren't big on formalities here. Most of our business is done with a quick chat and a handshake. Being on the Mysore Main Road is convenient for our suppliers to drop things off. It’s a straightforward trading life, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
