Shree Veer Hanuman Rice Mill

You can find our mill out at the K.S.S.I.D.C. Industrial Estate on Lokikere Road. It is a busy area with a lot of other companies around, but we mostly just stick to our own corner and mind our business. Running a rice mill involves a lot of repetitive tasks every single day. We spend our mornings checking over the machines and making sure all the bags are ready for the afternoon. It is not the most exciting job in the world, but it is what we do to get by. The floor is usually covered in husks no matter how many times we try to sweep it up. That just comes with the territory of this kind of work. We have been in this same spot for a good long while now. The neighbors at the other industrial units are decent people. We share the main road with a lot of heavy trucks. Sometimes the traffic gets backed up right near our entrance, which can be quite frustrating when you are in a hurry. We do not do anything special or fancy here. We just take the rice, process it, and move it out to the customers. The equipment is old but it stays reliable if you treat it right. We fix most things ourselves when they break down. It is cheaper that way and we know these machines inside out by now.
