Ahmed Interior Designer

I’ve been working out of 2/52 on 2nd Street here in Girisamudram for a while now. Being an interior designer in a place like this means you get to see all sorts of homes, from the very old ones to the newer builds. Ahmed Interior Designer is basically me and a small group of workers I trust to get things done right. We don't have a massive showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have samples of wood, tiles, and paint scattered around the office on various shelves. Most of the time, I am out at a client's house measuring walls or checking on the carpentry work. It can get pretty dusty and loud, but that’s the reality of fixing up a space. People come to me when they want to change their kitchen or maybe redo a bedroom. I listen to what they want and try to figure out how to make it work without spending more than they have. It’s not always about fancy trends; it’s more about making a house feel comfortable to live in. We deal with the local suppliers for most of our materials because it’s easier that way. Sometimes projects take a little longer if the weather is bad or if a specific material isn't in stock, but we keep at it. 2nd Street is home for the business, and most people around Girisamudram find us by word of mouth. It's a hands-on job and I like seeing a room change from start to finish.
