Our factory is out at No. 49, Sengadu Village in the Manavala Nagar area. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but it gives us the space we need for manufacturing. Hyundai Sealtech Mfg. Pvt. Ltd. isn't some high-tech futuristic lab. It’s a place where things are actually made. There are machines running and people checking parts all day long. We started small and just kept at it. The staff here mostly comes from the nearby villages. We’ve become a bit of a community over time. We don't have a big corporate culture with retreats or team-building exercises. We just work together every day and that's enough. The air is a bit clearer out here than in the center of town, which is nice. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generators to kick in, which is just part of life here. We make seals and technical components. It requires a lot of attention to detail, so we try to keep distractions to a minimum. We don't do much in terms of self-promotion. We figure if we make good parts, the business will keep coming in. That’s been our experience so far anyway. It’s a decent place to work and we take pride in the fact that we're making things that actually go into bigger machines elsewhere.
