Bhawani Traders

Bhawani Traders is easy to find because we are right on the Chengalpattu Main Road. We are at No: 101, and we are directly opposite the Perumal Temple in Vadakkupattu. It’s a very busy part of the Kancheepuram district. Being across from the temple means we see all the festivals and the crowds that come through. The shop is mostly full of various goods that we trade, so there is stuff stacked up to the ceiling in some corners. It gets a bit chaotic when a new shipment arrives and we have to find a place for everything. We spend a lot of time checking our stock and talking to suppliers on the phone. The noise from the traffic on Main Road is constant, so you have to talk a bit louder to be heard. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a fancy storefront. It’s just a regular trading business with a lot of heavy boxes and paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by candlelight for a bit, but we keep going. The locals know us as the place across from the temple. We’ve been here long enough that we know which days will be busy and which ones will be slow. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, but it's what we do. We just try to get the orders right and keep things moving. It gets hectic but we survive.
