We have been here at Survey No:23 in the Thandalam Group for quite a few years now. The village of Vellanthangal is a bit quiet compared to the city, but it works for us. Getting things done in Irungattukottai means dealing with the heat and the dust that comes from the nearby roads. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the technical work done. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we manage. Most of the people working here come from nearby areas, so there is a lot of local chatter during lunch. We handle a lot of parts and machines every day. It gets loud sometimes when the heavy equipment is running. The yard out back is usually full of materials waiting to be moved. It’s a lot of manual coordination. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that because most people just come straight to the shop floor to talk. If you are looking for the place, just head past the main village turnoff. It’s easy to miss if you aren’t watching for the sign. We spend most of our time looking at drawings or checking the output from the machines. It is basic, hard work. We stay busy with whatever orders come in that week. It’s just how we operate day in and day out here in this part of Tamil Nadu.
