Gates Unitta India

Gates Unitta India is out here in the SIPCOT Industrial Park in Pondur. Being at F 19 means we’re part of this huge sprawl of factories in Sriperumbudur. It’s quite a drive for most of us, and the heat in this part of Tamil Nadu is no joke, especially during the middle of the day. The industrial park is massive, and sometimes it feels like a small city on its own with all the different units and the trucks coming in and out at all hours. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day operations inside the facility. It’s a very functional place. There’s no big fancy sign or anything, just the usual industrial gate and the security cabin. Inside, it’s mostly about the equipment and making sure the floor stays efficient. Lunch breaks are usually spent in the canteen or just grabbing a quick bit of shade where we can find it. The roads around here are wide but they get very busy when the shifts change and all the buses start moving at once. It’s a lot of coordination to keep things running smoothly. We don’t really talk much about big goals or anything, we just focus on the schedule for the week. It’s loud, it’s busy, and there’s always something that needs fixing or checking. That’s just the way life goes when you’re working in a place like this.
