We’ve been set up in Usman Abad Shalteng for a good bit now. It’s a busy part of the outskirts where there is always something going on with the traffic and the local shops. Our place isn't particularly large or shiny, but it’s where we spend most of our daylight hours. Usually, the morning starts with checking what stock we have and what needs to go out to the clinics nearby. It’s mostly just practical work, making sure the supplies are where they need to be. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to do things the old-fashioned way with a pen and a ledger. People from the neighborhood often drop by to ask about different health items or just to have a quick chat about the weather. It gets quite dusty on this road, so we are always cleaning the shelves. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local spot trying to keep things organized. The sign out front has seen better days, but everyone knows we are here. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in with specific needs. It’s not a fancy job, but it feels right being part of the community here in Shalteng. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the shelves filled with what matters.
