Trumboo Cement Industries has its main office at Sheikh Manzil, House No 11 in Srinagar. We are located right near the Rajbagh Post Office, so it's a pretty familiar landmark for anyone in the area. Dealing with cement in Jammu and Kashmir means you have to be ready for all kinds of weather and transport issues. We spend a lot of time coordinating between the site and the office. The building here is where all the planning and the paperwork happens. It’s a bit of a local operation, and we know many of the people who come by. Cement is a heavy business, and it keeps us on our toes. There’s always someone calling about a delivery or a new project starting up in Srinagar. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or anything like that; the office is just a place to get the work done. You’ll find files stacked up and phones ringing quite often. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because that's the nature of the trade, but we like it that way. Rajbagh is a good place to be based, very central. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the city grow quite a bit. It’s just us, working hard to keep the supply moving where it needs to go.
