The Travel India

The Travel India is located on the second floor of the Muzaffar Karnai building. We are at Khyam Chowk, right across from Khyber Hospital. Being on the second floor means we have a bit of a view of the street, but it also means people have to walk up the stairs to find us. We have been in this building for some time now. It is a busy area because of the hospital and all the local shops. Our office is just a couple of rooms filled with travel books, old maps, and some furniture that has been around for years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. We focus on getting tickets booked and arranging cars for trips. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the stairs are a bit of a climb if you're carrying heavy bags, but it’s okay. We know the doctors and the staff at the hospital across the way. We get a mix of people coming in—some are locals and some are visiting from far away. We don't use any sales talk or pushy tactics. We just tell you what the costs are and what is actually possible to do. It is a small operation. Just a few of us making sure everything runs smoothly. We like being in Khyam Chowk because everything we need is right here. It’s an honest way to earn a living, and we've been doing it for a long time.
