The Kitchen Mart

The Kitchen Mart is situated at No. 35 on Gulmarg Road in Magam. You can find us right opposite the Gramin Bank, which is a very handy landmark for anyone driving through. Since we are on the road that leads toward Gulmarg, we see a lot of different people passing by every day. The shop itself is where we keep all the kitchen supplies and items we handle. It’s a straightforward place, nothing too fancy, just shelves and counters filled with the stuff people need for their homes. Being across from the bank means it's a busy corner, especially on market days. We open up early and usually stay until the sun starts to go down. The staff here consists of a few local guys who know the area well. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about what they’re looking for and trying to keep the inventory sorted. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with the road traffic, but we try to keep the place tidy. It’s a family-run kind of atmosphere, and we’ve gotten to know the regular faces who stop in from the nearby villages. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on running the mart and making sure we have what people are looking for when they walk through the door. It’s a simple business life on Gulmarg Road. We've been here for a while and plan to stay.
