We are over at 1 Qalamdan in Porafateh Kadal. It is a busy part of the city and honestly, sometimes it gets a bit loud with all the traffic outside our windows. Star786 Impex Private Limited started because we wanted to handle trade around here. We spend most of our mornings checking lists and making sure the paperwork for the imports and exports is actually right. Most days it is just us sitting around the desks, drinking tea and talking about what needs to go out by the afternoon. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it works for what we do. People around the neighborhood know us as the guys who are always moving boxes or looking at shipping manifests. It’s not a fancy job, just regular work. Some days the internet is slow and that makes things take longer than they should, which is frustrating. We have been in this spot for a while now. The walk to the office through the narrow lanes is how I start my day every morning. You get used to the smell of the market nearby and the sound of people shouting. It’s a lot of coordination with drivers and suppliers. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get the shipping done. Most of the time, we are just trying to keep up with the orders and making sure the local transport is on time. It is a bit messy sometimes but that is how it goes here.
