Sofi General Store

Sofi General Store has been a fixture here in Khrew for a long time. We are located right in the middle of Khrew, Srinagar - 191103. It’s a family-run kind of thing, nothing too formal. We sell a bit of everything because that’s what people around here need. The shelves are usually pretty full, sometimes a bit messy, but we know where everything is. It is a local store for local people. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket. We just want to make sure the neighbors can get their supplies without traveling too far. The building itself is old and has seen a lot of seasons. We’ve had to fix the roof a few times, but it holds up. You can usually find one of us behind the counter talking to a neighbor. We don't have a fancy computer system; we still use a notebook for some things. It works for us. Srinagar weather can be unpredictable, but we try to stay open regardless. People depend on us for their daily items, and we take that seriously, even if we don't say it out loud. It's just work, and we enjoy being part of the Khrew community. There’s no big secret to how we run things. We just show up every day and do what needs doing.
