S.K.Thusoo

In the middle of Karanagar, specifically near the Golemarket area of Srinagar, there is the place known as S.K.Thusoo. It’s located in a spot where people are always walking by or heading to the shops. The building itself is older, but it serves its purpose well. Inside the rooms, things are kept very tidy, though you can tell the furniture has been used for quite some time. There is a certain smell to the place, like clean linens and maybe a bit of medicine. People in the 190010 area usually just walk over when they need something. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or a television on the wall. Instead, there are just some benches and a few old magazines. The windows look out toward the street, and you can see the hustle and bustle of Srinagar from there. Working here feels like being part of the local fabric. Each day brings in different faces, some familiar and some new. We don’t do much in the way of decoration because that isn't really the point. The focus is always on the person standing in front of us. It stays pretty quiet inside despite the noise from the market outside. It is just a regular local spot that has been part of the community for a long time. People appreciate that it doesn’t change much, and we like it that way too. We just do our work and go home at the end of the day.
