Skims Medical College & Hospital

Our place is located in Bemina. Skims Medical College & Hospital is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a mix of students learning and doctors working. You’ll see young people with their books and white coats rushing around between classes and the wards. It creates a certain kind of energy that you only get in a teaching hospital. Bemina is a bit of a different vibe than the main Soura campus, but it's just as busy in its own way. The buildings are functional and have been used for years. We aren't here for the looks of the place. It's about the training and the patient care that happens inside. Sometimes the halls are a bit dim, and the paperwork piles up on the desks in the offices. That’s just how it goes in a big institution like this. We have folks coming in from the nearby areas for treatment every day. It’s a lot of responsibility, balancing the teaching side with the medical side. We try to keep things organized, but with so many students and patients, it’s a constant challenge. You get to know the regulars, the tea sellers nearby, and the students who stay late into the night. It’s a whole little world inside the gates. We don't have time for fancy talk or big promises. We just teach the students and look after the patients as best as we can.
