Silver Store

Silver Store is tucked away in the first lane of Hazratbal. Being near the Shine Dargah means there’s always people passing by, and the atmosphere around here is usually quite peaceful but busy in its own way. Our shop isn't very large, but we’ve got it packed with what we need. We spend most of our time organizing the shelves or talking to the regulars who stop in while they’re out on their errands. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here, even if we aren't all related. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, so we’ve seen the seasons change and the crowds grow during the holidays. The shop gets a bit cold in the winter, so we usually have some tea going to stay warm. We don't do much in the way of advertising because people just seem to find us. It’s practical work. We handle the daily tasks and make sure the place stays clean and ready for whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the lane gets blocked by a delivery truck, and we have to help move things around. That's just how life is in this part of town. We like the location because it’s close to the heart of things. It’s a simple operation, really. No big boardroom meetings or fancy uniforms, just us in our everyday clothes doing what needs to be done to keep the store running.
