Shopian Agro Fresh Cold Chain Private is based out of Parraypora, right on New Airport Road. We share the same general area as a few other businesses in Srinagar. Our focus is really on the cold chain side of things, making sure stuff stays cool when it needs to. It’s a lot of work keeping track of temperatures and logistics. The office here in Srinagar-190015 is where we manage the schedules and the trucks. It’s a busy place. New Airport Road is always humming with noise, which we’ve just learned to ignore over the years. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. We are a smaller team that knows the ins and outs of the local agro scene. We don't have a PR person to write nice things about us. We just handle the cold storage and transport stuff. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on equipment. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them fast. That’s just the nature of the cold chain business. We like being in Parraypora because it keeps us connected to the main routes. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to make sure the produce stays fresh and the business keeps running from day to day. Our office is functional, with a lot of clipboards and calendars on the walls to track everything as it comes in.
