Shalimar Provisional Store

We've been at Shalimar Provisional Store on 90 Feet Road in Buchpora for a good while now. It’s right near the Phe Pipe Store, which most people around here know well. Living and working in Srinagar means dealing with all sorts of weather, and this shop is where we spend most of our daylight hours. We keep the shelves stocked with the usual things families need every day. You know, the stuff for the kitchen and the house. It gets busy in the mornings when people are heading out to work or school. Ahmednager is a lively spot and there’s always something happening on the road right outside. We aren't a big supermarket or anything like that. It’s just a regular store where we know a lot of the faces that walk through the door. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk while waiting for someone to come in for a kilo of flour or some tea. The traffic on 90 Feet Road can be a bit much sometimes, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets a bit cluttered when a big delivery comes in. It’s a simple life running a provisional store here. We don't have fancy displays or bright lights. Just items on shelves and a counter to sit behind. We keep the door open and see who stops by today. It’s just us doing our thing in Buchpora and making sure the shop stays ready.
