Shalimar Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is right here at 50, Rajbagh Ext. We've been in this spot for a long time now. Most days it’s just us dealing with the usual workshop stuff. There is always a layer of dust on the desks and the sound of machines running in the back. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. We spend most of our hours looking at drawings or talking to people who need things fixed. Sometimes the tea man comes by twice if we’re having a particularly long afternoon. The Rajbagh area has changed a bit over the years but our gate stays the same. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. They know where every single wrench and bolt is kept even if it looks like a mess to anyone else. It gets pretty hot in the summer months but we just keep the fans going and get through the work. People stop by when they have a problem they can’t figure out themselves. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy outside. Most folks just know where we are because they’ve been coming here for years. It’s a basic setup. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough. We don't really do much advertising because there isn't much time for it. If you walk down the extension you'll find us easily.
