We are Sara Sheikh Infrastructure Private Limited, and you can find us at house number 117, right near the City School in Kolipora, Khanyar. Being in the heart of Srinagar means we are always right in the middle of everything. It’s a busy area with lots of narrow lanes and old buildings, which makes our job interesting. We aren't a big, fancy company with a glass office. We work out of our neighborhood, and most of the people we hire live just a few streets away. We’ve been around this part of Khanyar for ages, so we know the local styles and the way things have always been built here. Construction in an old city like Srinagar isn't always easy. You have to be careful with the space you have and mindful of the neighbors. We do everything from fixing up old walls to helping with newer projects. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just show up, do the work, and try to make sure it stays in good shape for years. Sometimes the traffic in Srinagar makes getting materials delivered a real headache, but we’ve learned how to time things right. We keep our records and meet people at our place in Kolipora. It’s a family-run kind of thing, really. We aren't trying to impress anyone with polished talk. We just want to keep building and keep our small crew working throughout the year, even when the winter chill sets in.
