Reel Of India

Reel Of India is a small setup that we have here in Srinagar. We do not have a big storefront on a main road, just a simple place where we manage all of our activities. We have been involved in the local scene for quite a while now, focusing on the visual side of things and how people see the valley. Srinagar is full of spots that look great on camera, and that is really what we are interested in. We spend a great deal of our time out in the field rather than just sitting behind a desk in the office. Whether it is the narrow alleys of the old city or the hills around the outskirts, we know the terrain very well. It is not a corporate office with a lot of strict rules and procedures. We just work on different projects as they come up throughout the year. Sometimes we are busy with travelers who want to document their whole trip, and other times we are just scouting for new locations to show people. The weather here in Kashmir changes very fast, so we always have to be quick with our plans. We are not trying to sell expensive packages or anything like that. We just like showing the real side of the place to whoever is interested. It can be a bit of a messy job sometimes, hiking through the mud or waiting for hours for the sun to come out, but it is what we do.
