Pohol Crafts Private Limited

We are located at 110 Gojwari Hamlets in the Osmania Colony area. It is right off the Eidgah Hawal Road here in Srinagar. Pohol Crafts Private Limited is run from this little corner of the neighborhood. It is a quiet place compared to the main roads, which we like. The house is old, and we use most of the space for our craft work. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day, children playing outside or someone selling vegetables from a cart. We have piles of raw materials in the corners of the rooms. It is not a corporate office with glass walls or anything. We have some wooden tables and old chairs that we’ve used for years. The dust from the materials gets everywhere, so we are always cleaning up. Working in Srinagar 190002 means we deal with the seasons as they come. When it snows, we stay close to the heaters and keep working on the crafts. It is a slow process, and we don't rush things because that is not how it is done here. Most of us have lived in this part of the city our whole lives. We know the shortcuts through the hamlets and where to get the best snacks in the afternoon. It is just a regular house where we do our business and try to keep things moving along nicely. There is always a pot of tea ready for whoever is working that day.
