O2 Travels

O2 Travels is situated right at Bishmner Nagar, near the Bund at Dal Gate. It’s one of those parts of Srinagar that everyone knows. If you walk along the water, you eventually run into us. We aren't a big company with a lot of staff. Mostly, it's just a couple of us sitting here handling the bookings. The office is small, and we’ve got some old wooden furniture that’s seen better days. We do a lot of work for people who want to see the Dal Lake or head out to the valleys. Since we are right at the 190001 area, we get all sorts of visitors. Some days are very quiet and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on the Bund. Other days, the phone doesn't stop ringing and we're scrambling to find an available taxi. We don't use much fancy software. We mostly rely on the people we know in the trade. If a hotel says they have a room, we take their word for it. We grew up around here, so we don’t need a map to tell people where to go. It’s a simple life. We like being near the water because it stays a bit cooler in the summer. We just try to get the jobs done without making too much of a fuss about it. It’s just how things are done here in our part of the city. We open early most days to get ahead of the morning rush.
