Mugloo & Sons

If you head down to Madin Sahib in Hawal, you’ll find us at 33, Mugloo House. Mugloo & Sons is basically a family-run place, and we’ve been working out of this building for years. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the different rooms, but we know where everything is. We mostly deal with local goods and traditional items that people around here use. The house itself has a lot of history, and it feels more like a home than a shop sometimes. My grandfather started things, and now we’re just keeping it going. You might hear the kettle going in the back because we drink a lot of tea while we work. It’s not the kind of place with bright lights and fancy displays. Instead, we have shelves piled high and a lot of paperwork on the desks. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to chat for a bit. We spend our mornings sorting through inventory and the afternoons dealing with deliveries. It can get a bit loud when the street is busy, but we’re used to it. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the sign on the door. It’s a simple life here. We focus on getting the work done and making sure the orders are correct. If you need something, you just come in and ask. That’s how we’ve always done it for generations.
