Mehmoodashaheen Trust Hospital is located in Tulsibagh, over in Srinagar. As a trust hospital, we operate a bit differently than the private ones. We’ve been here in Tulsibagh for quite some time, serving the people who live nearby. The hospital isn't the biggest in the city, but we have enough room to help the folks who walk through our gates. It’s a busy place most mornings, with people lining up early to get seen. We try to handle everything as it comes, though sometimes it feels like there’s never enough time in the day. The staff here lives in the community too, so we know the families who come in. We don't have fancy equipment or shiny new wings on the building. It’s an older place that has seen a lot of history. We just focus on the basics and making sure people have somewhere to go when they are sick. Srinagar can be cold in the winter, and we try to keep the place warm for the patients. It’s a lot of work running a trust hospital, and we don't always have everything we want, but we make do with what we have. It’s about being there for the neighborhood and doing our part. We don't do much marketing; we just stay open and do our best for Tulsibagh. We've been a part of this landscape for a long time and we just keep going.
