Mecon Limited

Khanda Bhawan is the place where Mecon Limited operates. We are located in the Nawakadal area of Srinagar. It’s a part of the city that has been around a long time. Our office isn't one of those modern buildings with all the glass and steel. It’s a solid, older building that serves us well. We’ve set up our desks and files here, and it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. Nawakadal has a specific rhythm to it, and we have become part of that over the years. We aren't here to make big speeches or try to sell you on some corporate dream. We are just a local business trying to get the day's work finished. Some days are busier than others, and the office can feel a bit small when we have a lot going on. But it’s our space and it works. People around Srinagar know the area well, so finding Khanda Bhawan is usually pretty simple. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans on the walls. We just show up and do the job. It’s a bit chilly in the winter, but we have our ways of keeping warm while we work. It’s a real, living office with all the small imperfections you’d expect from a place that actually gets used every day. We usually have a pot of tea going to keep us focused on the tasks.
