Master General Store

Master General Store is right in the middle of Amira Kadal in Srinagar. We are located in the Lal Chowk area, specifically in Maharaja Bazar. This is one of the busiest parts of the city. There is always noise from the traffic and people shouting in the market. We have been here for many years, seeing the city change around us. The shop sells all kinds of general items. It is an old building with high ceilings and shelves that go all the way up. We often have to use a ladder to reach things. Maharaja Bazar is a place where everyone comes to shop, so we see people from all over Srinagar. We don't have a lot of space to move around inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible. It can get a bit chaotic during the festival seasons. We aren't a big company, just a local shop with a few people working here. We know the other shopkeepers around us and we often share tea in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to use candles or torches to show people the goods. It is just how things work here. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just provide the basic stuff people need and try to keep our prices fair for everyone who walks through our door.
