Madina World Travels

Our office is tucked away in the Madina Complex, right in the middle of Maharaja Bazar. If you know Srinagar, you know how hectic Maharaja Bazar can get, especially during the middle of the day. We are on the ground level mostly, and it is a good spot for us. People come into the complex for all sorts of things, and Madina World Travels is just one of the doors you'll see. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at schedules. It's not a quiet place, but we like the energy of the market. The tea guy comes around a couple of times a day, which is usually the highlight for us. We've got maps and some old files sitting around. It's not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but it still does the job. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who have lived here our whole lives. We talk to the shopkeepers next door about the weather or the local news while we wait for the next person to walk in. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the road work nearby, but we keep the inside as clean as we can. We just focus on the daily tasks and trying to help folks out as best as we can before heading home.
