This office is situated in Bul Bul Lanker, right near Nawa Kadal in Srinagar. Being here in Kashmir, we see a lot of different seasons, and the winters can get pretty tough with all the snow. The building isn't anything massive, just a regular spot where we handle the daily paperwork and things that come up. Most days start with a cup of tea while we look over what needs to be done. It’s a bit of a maze getting through the streets of Srinagar sometimes, but we’ve been here long enough that we know the shortcuts. People around here know the Bul Bul Lanker area well. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big reception area. It’s mostly just us sitting at our desks and getting through the logs. The address sounds a bit old-fashioned to some, but it's home to us. We’ve seen the city change quite a bit over the years, though our corner remains much the same. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the power goes out, but we just carry on. We are not some big city office with glass walls. We are just a local team in a busy part of Srinagar trying to keep things moving. It’s practical work and it keeps us occupied. If you’re ever near Nawa Kadal, you’ve probably walked right past us without even realizing it.
