Khan Provisional Store

Khan Provisional Store is located in the Rajori Kadal area of Srinagar, near Saraf Kadal. We are at the 190002 pincode. It’s a local shop where we sell all the daily essentials people in this neighborhood need. We have things like tea leaves, sugar, various types of lentils, and cooking oil. Being in Rajori Kadal means we are right in the middle of a lot of local activity. The shop is small and has been here for some time. We open up in the morning and wait for the regulars to come by for their daily supplies. Srinagar can be quite chilly, especially in the winter, so we make sure to have plenty of items that people need when they are stuck indoors. It's a simple business. We don't have any complicated systems. We just write things down and keep track of our stock on the shelves. The area of Saraf Kadal is busy, and there’s always someone walking by. Sometimes we just sit outside the shop when it’s sunny. We know most of the families who live around here. They’ve been coming to us for years. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket. We just want to make sure the people living nearby can get their groceries without having to go too far. It's a lot of work keeping everything organized, but it keeps us busy. Dealing with the heavy sacks of grain can be tiring, but it's part of the job we do every day.
