Ket Group

We have our place on the first floor of the Ket Complex in the Batamaloo area of Srinagar. It’s right opposite the Arise Hyundai Motors showroom, so it is quite easy to spot us from the main road. We’ve been working out of this complex for a few years now. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit steep if you are carrying heavy bags or move slowly. Inside, it’s just a normal workspace where we get things done every day. We don't have any big slogans or mission papers pinned on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and notes about what needs to happen next on our schedule. Batamaloo is a lively part of town with a lot of shops and people moving around all day. We like the energy of the neighborhood. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour and we have to wait a bit, but we just use that time to talk and have some tea. It’s a simple operation with a small team of local people. We don't use a lot of fancy English or marketing tricks to get people to visit. We just stay at our desks and handle the work as it comes in. It gets pretty chilly in the winters here, so we always have a small heater going in the corner of the room.
