Kashmir Dry Fruits Corner

You’ll find us at Plot No. 63-A in the Govt. Central Market. It is a busy spot, especially on the weekends when people are out doing their shopping. Kashmir Dry Fruits Corner has been sitting in this corner of the market for a long time. The shop isn't very big, but we make use of every inch of shelf space we have. There are crates and boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling. It can get a bit cramped when there are more than three customers inside at once. The market has its own rhythm, with the noise of people talking and other shopkeepers calling out. We spend most of our morning weighing things out and putting them into smaller bags. The scales we use are old but they still work perfectly fine. We don't have a fancy website or a social media manager. Most of our customers are folks who have been coming to the Govt. Central Market for years. They know exactly where Plot 63-A is. Sometimes we sit on small stools outside the door when the shop is quiet, just watching the people go by. It’s a lot of work keeping everything fresh and sorted, but it’s what we do. There is a certain smell of almonds and walnuts that stays on your clothes even after you go home. It's just a regular market life for us.
