We are based over at House No. 5 in Usmania Colony, right in the Bagh-E-Mehtaab area of Srinagar. It is a decent neighborhood to work out of, and we have been here for a while now doing construction and various services. The office is basically just a regular house where we keep all our files and meet up in the mornings. Srinagar can get pretty busy, and the traffic is not always helpful, but we make it work somehow. Most of our days are spent on-site, getting our hands dirty and making sure things are being built correctly. We do not have a massive crew, but the guys we have know what they are doing. It is a bit of a juggle sometimes, handling the services side along with the actual building work, but that is just the nature of the business here in Jammu and Kashmir. We keep it simple. No big speeches or complicated plans, just looking at what needs to be built and getting on with it. The winter months can slow us down a lot because of the cold, but we just push through as much as we can. It is a local operation, and most people in the colony know who we are by now. We like it that way. It feels more personal when you are working in your own community every day.
