J.N.Oil & Chemicals (J&K)India

Our company is J.N.Oil & Chemicals (J&K) India. We are based up on the 3rd floor of the Qazi Complex. That’s on Airport Road in the Magarmal Bagh area of Srinagar. It’s a nice enough building, though climbing the stairs to the third floor keeps us fit since the elevator isn't always reliable. We deal with various oils and chemical products. Most of our work is administrative, handling the distribution and sales side of things. We have a small office with a view of the road. It gets cold in the winter, so we usually have a heater going under the desk. Srinagar is a beautiful place to work, but the weather can make logistics a bit tricky sometimes. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and transport companies. It’s a lot of talking and checking ledgers. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything. It's just a few desks, some chairs for visitors, and lots of filing cabinets. We’ve been operating out of Magarmal Bagh for quite some time now. People in the complex know us well. We just try to stay on top of the orders and make sure the deliveries are moving. It’s a steady routine. We’re just a small group of people working together to keep the business going through the seasons. We usually stop for a break when the tea man comes around in the afternoon. It is just a normal, hardworking office environment.
