We are located in Malroo, Hakteng, right in Srinagar. You can find us at Abdul Gaffar Bhat’s place. It’s a local spot where we handle all our engineering and design work. JBHB Construction Engineers And Designers Private Limited is just a group of us who enjoy the technical side of building things. We aren't sitting in a high-rise office; we are right there in the community. Srinagar has a lot of old charm, and we try to work with that when we are designing new projects. We spend a lot of time looking at sketches and trying to figure out how to make things fit in tight spaces. Abdul Gaffar Bhat’s house is where all the planning happens. It’s a simple setup with some desks and a lot of paper. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just want to make sure the buildings we work on are solid and look right. The engineering part is what we really focus on, making sure everything is safe and stays standing. Construction in Jammu and Kashmir requires you to think about the environment and the local materials. We talk to the clients directly and explain things in plain English. It’s a busy life, and we are usually covered in some kind of site dust by the end of the day. We just keep our heads down and get through the work.
