We are set up on the 5th and 6th floors at 218, which gives us a bit of a view of the street below. It’s a lot of climbing if you don't take the elevator, but once you're up here, it’s a wide-open space filled with all the usual gym gear. We have rows of weights, some treadmills by the windows, and mats spread out for stretching. The place usually smells like rubber mats and cleaning spray because we are always trying to keep things tidy after the morning and evening rushes. It’s not one of those intimidating places with neon lights everywhere. It’s just a spot for people in the neighborhood to come and get their workout done. We spend a lot of time putting weights back in their racks and making sure the machines are working properly. Sometimes a cable snaps or a screen stops working, and we have to wait for the repair guy to show up. The 6th floor is where we keep some of the heavier equipment and have a bit more room to move around. We don't have a big team of sales people in suits. Usually, it's just one or two of us at the desk or on the floor helping out. It gets pretty busy right after work hours, but during the day it’s actually quite peaceful up here on the top floors.
