Our business is called Jaujab Honey and you can find us at Bait-Al- Saasa. We are right opposite the government school in Bhatpura Bhar. It’s a small community and everyone pretty much knows everyone else. Working with honey means things get sticky pretty fast. We spend a lot of time cleaning jars and making sure the seals are tight. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the new batches come in. The smell of honey is always in the air around here. Sometimes it’s nice, but after eight hours, you kind of stop noticing it. We don't have a big staff, just a few local folks who know how to handle the product. The school kids often walk past and look through the window to see what we are doing. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The space we have is functional, with plenty of room for storage but not much for anything else. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People know where we are and what we do. Most of our time is taken up with the logistics of getting the honey from one place to another without making a mess. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just try to stay busy and make sure the jars are ready for whoever needs them. It’s honest work and that is enough for us.
