Jai Maa Kamakhya Kirana & General Store

Our store is at 11-17-102 in Pr Nagar. We are right in the heart of Sanat Nagar. People call us Jai Maa Kamakhya Kirana & General Store. It’s a small shop, but we try to keep it stocked with everything. We have rice, dal, soaps, and all the little things people need every day. I spend most of my day sitting behind the small wooden counter. It gets really busy in the mornings and evenings. We know almost everyone who walks through the door. It’s more of a neighborhood gathering place than just a store. We don't have fancy scanners or a computer. We just write everything down in a notebook. The shelves are a bit crowded and sometimes things get a little dusty. We don't have air conditioning, so it gets pretty hot in the summer. We just keep the fans going and offer people water. It’s a lot of work to keep everything in stock and deal with the suppliers. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to tell people to come back later. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the shop running and help our neighbors get what they need. It’s a modest life, and we are satisfied with it. Sanat Nagar is a good place to be, and we like being part of it. We stay open late most nights to help out.
