IBRAHIM CONSTRUCTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED

We operate out of House Number 21 in Batmadan, which is in the Keller area of Shopian. It’s a quiet place mostly, out here in Pulwama. Construction in this part of the country is different because of the hills and the roads. We’ve been doing this work for a while now, mostly focusing on what needs to be built nearby. Ibrahim Constructions Private Limited is just a small group of us working out of this house. The weather in Shopian can get really cold, especially in the winter, so we have to plan our work around the seasons. Sometimes the snow stops everything, and we just wait it out at the office. It’s not a corporate building, just a normal house where we keep our files and meet up. We talk about projects over tea. There’s a lot of logistics involved in getting bricks and cement up here. We know the local roads and the people. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just build things. Whether it's a small wall or a bigger structure, it takes time and effort. We are part of the community here in 192306. People know where to find us if they need something constructed. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy throughout the year, except when the weather says no. We just take it one day at a time and do the job. It is not always easy but we get by. That is just how it goes here.
