Malik Traders

We are over here at Hmt. It’s a busy spot most days. Malik Traders has been here for a while now. Some mornings it is quiet, then everyone shows up at once. We deal with various things people need. The shop isn't huge but we keep it organized as much as we can. Usually, you’ll find one of us sorting through the stock or talking to a regular who just stopped by for a chat. The weather gets a bit dusty around Hmt, but we manage somehow. We don’t have fancy chairs or a big reception area. It is just a place where work gets done. My uncle used to say that a business is only as good as the people who walk through the door. We try to remember that. Some days the delivery trucks are late and we have to wait around drinking tea. It’s just how it goes. We handle the paperwork on a small desk that’s been here since we opened. If you come by, you might see us loading up some crates or checking the ledgers. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life. We know the neighbors and they know us. That’s the way it’s always been at Malik Traders. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every single day until it is time to lock up the shop and go home to our families.
