Himayat-E-Islam Foundation

Himayat-E-Islam Foundation is situated in Rainawari, which is an old and busy part of Srinagar. Our office is tucked away in the neighborhood, and it is a very simple place. We don't have a big staff or a fancy corporate office with glass walls. It is just a few of us who grew up around here and wanted to run this foundation. The streets in Rainawari are narrow and full of life, so there is always a bit of noise coming in from outside. We spend our days sitting at our desks, handling whatever paperwork comes our way. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just talk to people like we always have. Sometimes the office is a bit messy with stacks of documents, but we know where everything is. Srinagar can be a tough place to work sometimes, especially when the weather turns bad or things in the city get complicated. But we stay open and keep doing our tasks. We are not trying to be the biggest or the most famous foundation. We just want to do our work quietly in this corner of the city. Most people who know us just walk in if they need something. It is a very local way of doing things, and we wouldn't want it any other way. It is just practical, everyday work for us that keeps the foundation going.
