Harish General Store

Harish General Store sits right at the Raja Cycle Choraya on Sri Nagar Road. If you know the Srinagar Road area, you know how much noise there is from the cycles and the autos passing through the intersection. Our shop is just a plain room where we keep daily essentials. We have been at this spot for a while now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get it done. People come to Harish General Store because we are right on the corner. It is convenient for the people living in the nearby lanes. We sell things like soap, biscuits, and basic kitchen items. There is no air conditioning here, so the door stays open all day to let the breeze in, along with the dust from the road. We do not have any big slogans. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars to show up. Sometimes the supply truck is late, and we have empty spots on the shelves for a day or two. That is just part of running a shop in this part of town. We are not trying to be the biggest store around, just a place where you can get what you need without a fuss. It is a quiet life except for the honking outside at the choraya.
