Haji Mushtaq Provisional Store

Haji Mushtaq started this place years ago and we are still here in Nowhatta. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, but that is how we like it. We sell the usual stuff like cooking oil, salt, and different types of grains that people use for making Wazwan at home or just regular dinner. Being in Srinagar 190002 means we see a lot of people passing by every single day. The winters are the hardest part because the roads get blocked and getting new stock can be a real headache. But we manage somehow. My day starts with sweeping the front and making sure the jars are lined up. We don't use any computer systems or anything high-tech; it is all written down in a notebook or just remembered. Most of the customers are our neighbors who have been buying from us since they were kids. It is nice to see the families grow over the years. We try to keep the prices fair because we know everyone is working hard for their money. If you need something specific and we don't have it, I usually try to get it from the main wholesaler by the next week. It is just a small business trying to serve the local community in Nowhatta. There is nothing special about the building, but it is a steady place for the folks living around here to get their essentials.
