Gul Trading

If you find yourself in Lal Chowk, you’ll probably see us. We’re located right near Hotel Park Plasa, which is a big landmark around here. Gul Trading has been operating from this area for quite some time now. Lal Chowk is always full of people, cars, and all kinds of noise, so there’s never a dull moment. We are right in the middle of it all. Our day usually starts with checking what’s come in and what needs to go out. Trading is a bit of a gamble sometimes, depending on the day, but we keep at it. We don't have a polished office with glass walls. Our place is more about the work than the looks. We’ve got a lot of neighbors who are also in trade, so it’s a competitive but familiar environment. Sometimes the tourists from the hotel wander by looking for things, and we help them out if we can. The weather can be a bit of a challenge here, but we’re used to it by now. We don't spend money on big ads or trying to sound like a huge company. We’re just Gul Trading, doing our business day by day in one of the busiest parts of the city. It’s a lot of hard work and staying on your feet, but that’s how we like it. We’ve built up some good relationships over the years just by being here and being honest. That is our daily life and we wouldn't change it.
