Our place is located in Darpora Hassannoor, which is a quiet little spot tucked away in the Anantnag area. We operate out of Ghulam Qadir Dar’s premises, and it feels like a very local setup. We deal with organic food and beverages, but we do not treat it like some kind of big modern trend. For us, it is just the right way to handle food. Working in Anantnag means we are always close to the farms where everything is grown. The air out here is usually fresh, and we spend a lot of our time working outside or in the storage shed. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but we actually prefer it that way. We are not a big corporation with a lot of fancy offices. The work mostly involves sorting through the fresh produce and making sure everything is clean and ready. We have our daily routines and we try to stick to them as much as possible. It is not always easy, especially when the mountain weather turns cold and rainy, but the soil here is good. We know all the farmers around Darpora and we talk to them almost every day. It is a local operation through and through. We do not have a big marketing budget. We just have a solid roof and enough space to do our chores.
