Golden Auto Engg Works

We’ve been here at 76, Industrial Estate for a good while now. It’s right in Hmt Zainakote, which is usually a pretty busy spot during the day. Most mornings start with the sound of the shutters going up and the machines getting warmed up. We handle a lot of engineering work here, mostly stuff related to autos and general repairs. The air always has that faint smell of oil and cut metal. It’s not a fancy place by any means, but we get the jobs done. People come in with parts that need fixing or custom work that requires a steady hand. Sometimes the power goes out or things get delayed, but that’s just part of working in an industrial zone like this one. Our floor is usually covered in some shavings or grease by lunchtime. We take our tea breaks together outside when the weather is nice. It’s a small team of us, just regular guys who know how to work the lathes and the welding tools. We don’t really do much advertising because most people around here already know where we are. If you’re driving through the estate, you can’t miss the sign. It’s been there through the winters and the summers. We just focus on what’s on the workbench that day. There’s always something being hammered or measured. It’s loud, it’s a bit messy, but it’s how we’ve always operated.
