Giggling Angels Foundation

If you walk down Dr. Ali Jaan Road in Srinagar, you will find us near the Gol Masjid in Soura. Giggling Angels Foundation has its space right there in the Nowshera area. It is a busy part of the city, and there is always something happening right outside our windows. We chose this spot because it is easy for people to find us once they know where the masjid is. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of files piled up. It gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time, but we don't mind the noise. Working in Srinagar means we have to deal with the local pace of things, which can be fast one minute and slow the next. We spend our mornings going through messages and planning out the schedule for the week. It’s a lot of practical work, nothing like what you see in movies about big foundations. We are just local people trying to keep this thing running. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we just use that time to talk. We really like being in this neighborhood. The people around Soura are friendly and they often peek in to say hello. It feels good to be right in the middle of everything where the action is. It keeps us busy and connected to the street life.
