Fayaz General Store

We are located in Bohri Kadal, which is a busy part of Srinagar. The store has been around for some time, and we try to keep all the basic things people need for their homes. From salt to soap, we have a bit of everything on the shelves. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit crowded when a few people come in at once. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a regular shop where neighbors come to pick up their daily items. Life in Srinagar has its own pace, and Bohri Kadal is always full of activity. We open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customers. Some people have been coming to us for years, so we know their names and what they usually buy. It’s not a big corporate business, just a family-run place. We handle the orders, stack the bags, and keep track of what's running low. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, especially in winter, but we try to stay open as much as we can. We aren't trying to be the biggest store, just a reliable one for the people living nearby. If we don't have something, we try to get it the next time. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy and connected to the community here. There is always work to do, like checking the goods we just got in from the suppliers today.
